Standard design for residential subdivisions shall utilize gray fiberglass poles <br />anchored in underground sleeves, and gray "cobra head" HPS luminaries <br />producing an IES Type II or Type III Cutoff lighting pattern. <br /> <br />3. Standard design for Arterial/Collector streets shall include the following: Arms <br />and luminaries installed on existing utility company poles; gray fiberglass poles <br />anchored in underground sleeves, and gray "cobra head" HPS luminaries <br />producing an IES Type II or Type III Cutoff lighting pattern; steel hot dipped <br />galvanized poles with concrete foundations and gray "cobra head" HPS luminaries <br />producing an IES Type II or Type III Cutoff lighting pattern. The designer must <br />consult with the City to determine which design is appropriate for the roadway <br />under design. <br /> <br />4. Standard design for "Great Streets", Mixed use areas, and Nodal Developments as <br />identified and defined in adopted planning documents that identify special use <br />areas requiring pedestrian scale lighting shall use the City's standard Kim <br />lighting pole and fixture combination. Design may include a mixture of <br />pedestrian scale lighting and standard designed Arterial/Collector style lighting. <br /> <br />5. Standard design for multi-use paths shall include galvanized steel, or smooth <br />anodized aluminum poles, with a 20-foot mounting height shoe box fixture that <br />includes a vandal resistant shield. <br /> <br />6. Unless otherwise approved as part of a land use permit, luminaries shall be at the <br />IES recommended cutoff. <br /> <br />R-7 .085/SL- D Appeal. <br /> <br />A decision denying a privately engineered public improvement application that includes <br />street lights may be appealed by the applicant within the time and in the manner set forth in <br />Section 2.021 of the Eugene Code, 1971. The appeal shall be accompanied by the fee <br />established by the City Manager pursuant to Section 2.020 of the Eugene Code, 1971, and shall <br />describe in writing the specific basis or bases upon which the appellant asserts that the decision <br />was in error.
