<br />RESOLUTION NO. 4930 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AMENDING EUGENE CITY COUNCIL OPERATING <br />AGREEMENTS AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 4872. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Eugene finds that: <br /> <br />A. On June 14, 1999, Ordinance No. 20156 was adopted by the Council and <br />approved by the Mayor amending Section 2.007 of the Eugene Code, 1971, concerning regular <br />meetings and council ground rules. <br /> <br />B. The Eugene City Council Operating Agreements were adopted by Resolution No. <br />4588 on April 12, 1999, and have been subsequently amended, most recently by Resolution No. <br />4872 on May 22, 2006. <br /> <br />C. At its Regular Meeting Session on January 28, 2008, the Council approved the <br />City Council Committee on Intergovernmental Relations Operating Agreements. Contained in <br />that document is direction that the "operating agreements of the Intergovernmental Relations <br />Committee are to be incorporated into the Operating Agreements of the Eugene City Council." <br />In order to ensure the intention of the Council is accurately reflected the City Council Operating <br />Agreements should be amended and Resolution No. 4872 repealed. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, a <br />Municipal Corporation of the State of Oregon, as follows: <br /> <br />Section 1. Based on the above findings, the Eugene City Council Operating Agreements, <br />referred to as ground rules in the Eugene Code, 1971, are hereby amended as set forth in Exhibit <br />A attached hereto and incorporated herein. <br /> <br />Section 2. Resolution No. 4872 and the Operating Agreements adopted therein are <br />hereby repealed as of the effective date of this Resolution. <br /> <br />Section 3.
