8~ <br />OFZDINANCE N0. 8648 <br />i. <br />An Ordinance amending Section 4 of Ordinance No. 5204 entitled: <br />~~ <br />~ "An Ordinance, to regulate the storage and handling of <br />coaloil, gasoline, naptha and other hydro-carbon liquids ~ <br />that will take fire and burn at a temperature below 120 ~j <br />! degrees Farenheit." ~I <br />passed by the Common Council and approved by the I~Iayor on January 11, 1926. <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. That Section 4 of Ordinance No. 5204 entitled: <br />"An Ordinance, to regulate the storage and handling of <br />coaloil, gasoline, naptha and other hydro-carbon liquids <br />that will take fire and burn at a temperature below 120 <br />degrees Farenheit." <br />i . <br />passed by the Common Council and approved by the RrIayor on January ll, 1926, be <br />!and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />"Section 4. It shall be the duty of the Building Inspector <br />to investigate such application and to issue the permit <br />thereof upon being satisfied that the proposed storage of <br />such liquids or the installation of such tank or tanks shall come <br />within the provisions of this Ordinance. Provided however, <br />that no permit for the installation of any tank or tanks <br />' on ~Yillamette Street between 19th Ave. and the Southern <br />~~ Pacific Railroad tracks shall be granted without a special <br />permit by the Council." <br />;Passed by the Common Council <br />.this 10th day of June,-1940. <br />J <br />i _/s/ C.1~.
