<br />RESOLUTION NO. Lf 5 Lf2- <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TRANSFER OF FUNDS <br />AMONG CITY DEPARTMENTS <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Eugene finds that: <br /> <br />A. The City Manager has reorganized City departments, creating a Human Resources and <br />Risk Services Department and transferring Municipal Court and public information <br />functions from the Department of Public Safety to the Administrative Services <br />Department. <br /> <br />B. The reorganization requires a transfer of funds among departments. <br /> <br />C. Adopting a Resolution to transfer funds between departments is necessary under ORS <br />294.450. <br /> <br />D. ORS 294.450(1) states that". . .transfers of appropriations may be made within a given <br />fund when authorized by official resolution. . . of the governing body." <br /> <br />E. The expenditures related to the transfers indicated on Exhibit "A" attached hereto, and by <br />this reference incorporated herein, have been determined necessary for the efficient <br />operation of the City. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, A <br />Municipal Corporation of the State of Oregon, as follows: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the transfer of funds from the Administrative Services Department to the <br />Human Resources and Risk Services Department and from the Department of Public Safety to <br />the Administrative Services Department for the City of Eugene, Oregon, for the fiscal year <br />beginning July 1, 1997, and ending June 30, 1998, as set forth in the attached Exhibit "A" is <br />hereby approved and authorized. <br /> <br />Section 2.
