The Toxics Board has recommended a fee of $10.79 per FTE be imposed for the <br /> <br />fiscal year commencing July 1, 2002, in order to cover the expenses of the program for that fiscal <br /> <br />year. Issues surrounding a shortage or surplus offunds at the end of the fiscal year will be addressed <br /> <br />equitably for all participating hazardous substance users, in accordance with generally accepted <br /> <br />accounting procedures. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, a <br /> <br />Municipal Corporation of the State of Oregon, as follows: <br /> <br />Section 1. A fee of $10.79 per FTE is hereby imposed as the fee to be paid by hazardous <br /> <br />substance users within the City of Eugene for the fiscal year commencing July 1,2002. The fee shall <br /> <br />be due and payable by May 1, 2002. <br /> <br />Section 2. As used in this Resolution, the terms "FTE," and "hazardous substance users" <br /> <br />have the meanings ascribed to them in Section 3.692 of the Eugene Code, 1971. <br /> <br />Section 3.
