On motion "t:~ <br />such report was adopted. <br /> <br />~he Finance Committee recommended the estimate of the City Engineer to pay <br />Stien Bros ~1152.00 for paving the alley between 12th and l'6th Avenues from <br />Alder to Kincaid Streets be approved. On motion such report was adopted. <br /> <br />Street Committee: <br />The Street Committee reported a street pump at the Howard Garage <br />on East 7th Avenue was broken and it has been reinstalled several feet from its <br />former location and in such manner as to be dangerous to traffic, and recommended <br />the pump be orJered removed. After discussion, the matter Vias referred back to the <br />Street Committee, which Gommittee, with the Mayor, is to see Howard and report back <br />to the next meeting of the Council. <br /> <br />11he matter of Street ~ighs, under the recommendations of the Boy Scouts, was <br />discussed, it being stated there are many illegal signs in the City.
