M. On Monday, May 21, 1928, there beiIJg present Nayor A. L. VHlliamson, and <br />COilllcilmen Large, Lamb, Rugh, Hendershott, and Reid; absent, 'VVashburne, McCully <br />and Monroe. <br /> <br />Meeting called to order by the Mayor, pursuant to Section 3739 of the <br />Laws. of Oregon for 1920, for the purpose of canvassing the votes on the proposed <br />annexation of Ch1,_la Vista District, as described, the Southwe:3tern District, as <br />described, Gnd the Western Dis tricG, as described. iJ.'he canvas vvas first made of' <br />the vote cast in the Southwest'3rn District, as described, v;hich, as canvassed, <br />showed eleven (11) votes in favol~ of aill1e,xation'and tV/enti-two (22) votes against <br />al111e:z:ation.
