On mot ion such report was adopted and 11 the Recorder directed to advertise for th/3 four type's of pavement for such Street., II Fire & Water Committee - il~ The Fire and Water Gommittee spoke of the Flremens Convention at i Sacram,ento:,t"hCallfornia to be held the first week in October and recommended the '1 Fi re Chief as pJ~esident of the Oregon Firemens AssQciation be sent there as' a '. delegate. The Chie,f of Polic.e was notified to check up on the 1: signs .and noticy those owning such signs to repair the same where not complying wi t :: the Ordinance. The Fire and Water Committee further recommended that the City Engineer and the Building Inspector check '\lP on t.he s.gn laws of some other Ci ties s,o as to be prepared to .recommend any change needed in our own sign Ordinance. The Health Committee further reported that the Meat inspe.ction Ordinance is in the whole being complied with, most of the markets now having their own inspector.
