The ayes and nays <br /> were called, all present voting aye, nay, none, absent Simon and Lamb. The Ordin- <br /> ance was declared passed and numbered 7877. <br /> I An Ordinance to improve the alley between 7th Avenue West and 8th Avenue <br /> West from the West, line of Olive Street to the East- line of Charnel ton Street, by <br /> 'paving the same with concrete paving, was presented, and a motion was made, second- <br /> ed, and carried that the Ordinance be' laid on the t abl e . <br /> Thirteen sidewalk assessment ordimnces, having been read the first tiae <br /> on Augus t 11th, 1930, and registered notices for protest having been sent, and now <br /> no pr ate s ts b ei ng :recei ved, said ordinances were read the second time, and passed <br /> thei r third readings by ti t Ie by unanimou s co nsen t under suspe nsion of the rule, <br /> and were placed on their final passage. The Ordinance was declared passed and numbered 7891. <br /> An Ordinance providing a f'orm for the issuance of $300,000 Interim Power <br /> and Light Bonds, vvhichare a unit of th~ $1,250,000 Water and Light Bonds author- <br /> ized by the Electors of the City of Eug'ene, May 27, 1929, ratifying the acceptance <br /> of the b id , and authori zing and directing ,the issuance and sale of said bonds in <br /> accordance with said bid and proposal was read the first time, and passed its <br /> second and third readings by title by unanimous consent under suspension of the <br /> rule, and was placed on its final passage. The ayes and nays were called, all <br /> pre sent voting aye, nay, none, absent Simon and Lamb. The Ordinance was declared <br /> passed and numbered 7892. <br /> A petition was read, and a motion of Councilman Large to refer it to the <br /> Public Heal th Commi ttee was made and withdrawn.
