The ayes and nays were called, all Councilmen voting aye, nay, <br />none. The Ordinance was declared passed and numbered 8026. <br /> <br />Mr. Burt Misto suggested that the present stop signs were not in a position <br />for good visibility. He also made the sugsestion that the City should make <br />Thirteenth Avenue East a through Street. On motion it was ordered that the Street Committee award <br />the contract to'S. B. Finegan if the tires were satisfactory. <br /> <br />Councilman Simon moved that the Council grant leave of absence and expenses <br />to the Chief of Police to attend the Willamette University Police School to be <br />he Id on March 9th to 14th.
