Notice is hereby given that I have called a special meeting of the Council to meet at the Recorder's Office in the City of Eugene on February 16th, 1932, at 4 o'clock P~ M. for the purpose of consideration of alleged violation of the building code in the matter of construction of a building by the J. W. Copeland Yards Company on the North side of 8th Avenue West between Olive and Charnelton Streets. ....... ....... .,;;.,1 J......... Dated at Eugene, Oregon, February 16th, 1932. Council met pursuant to the above call of the 1~yor and was called to order by Mayor Large with all councilmen present, except Reid and Zumwalt. Representatives of the J. W. Copeland Yards Company were also present and also members of the Board of Appeals. I The purpose of the call was stated, and after some discussion Councilman Lamb moved that the matter be re-referred to the Board of Appeals to take up with the Copeland Yards Company and see if it was possible to arrive at any satisfactory conclusion. Motion was seconded and carried. Councilman Lamb also moved that the Building Inspector be instructed to notify the Company to cease construction, pending the settlement of the question involved.
