'..,..~' , <br /> - " <br /> Minutes of the regular meeting of' Allgust 8th, 1932, and of the adjourned <br /> meeting of August 22nd, 1932, were read and approved. <br /> . Attorney Whiteen Swafford and John Runzicker, Architect, appeared before <br /> the Council stating that the Building Inspector had requested certain changes in <br /> the pian of the construction of the Woodman Hall at West 8th and Lincoln Streets, <br /> and Mr. Wesley Pennington as a trustee asked for immediate acti on by the Council <br /> as the building could not prpceed under further delays. Motion was made by <br /> Councilman Zumwalt and seconded by Councilman,Reid that the Building Inspector's <br /> obj ections be overruled and construc tion allowed to proceed under pre sent plans. <br /> . Motion carried. <br /> The ~udiciary Committee, by Chairman Edwards, reported regarding the so <br /> called dumping ordinance that the season was nearly over, and that the matters <br /> covered by the proposed ordinance demanded more study, and that the ordinance <br /> should not be passed "wi thout further and careful consideration and recommended <br /> that further consideration of the ordinance be delayed to some future time. Motio <br /> was made and seconded to adopt the report. After discussion on the merits of the <br /> measure by Mr. Chambers, Mr. Ryan, Mr. Harlan, and others,. the motionbelng put <br /> to a vote was carried. <br /> The Judiciary Oommittee ~ported to the Council that they had approved <br /> the changes in 'bus routing and the temporary reduction in fares. <br /> I <br /> Chairm&l Hendershott of the Finance Committee reDommended that the <br /> following bills be paid.
