Council was called to ol'der by Mayor Elisha~Large, with <br />all Councilmen present except Mr. Scobert. <br /> <br />I\1inutes of the Special meeting of April 3, 1933, the regular meeting of April <br />10, 1933, and the adjourned meeting of April 24, 1933 were read and approved. <br /> <br />The Judiciar,l,r and Health COiillnittees submitted a joint report concerning the <br />keeping of roos'tiers and bees withiu,'the City, 8l1d stated that it was the opinion of <br />the Commi ttees and Ci ty Attorney that these mat tel's could prObably be reg'Ulated <br />under the present nuisance Ordinance, and that the difficult.y of enacting a select- <br />i ve Ordinance exempt ing certain 10cali ties and varying condi ti ons considered, they <br />recommended that no action be taken. The report of the Committees was adopted by <br />the Council. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The Jud ici ary and Financ e Commi t tee s joined in a recoiMl1enda tion tha t no change <br />II be made in the license fee foX' garbage haulers. The Reco~nendation, upon motion, <br />was adopted. <br /> <br />Chairman Borm of the Fire and Water Committee reported that the Fire Chief, <br />had in addition to the inspection to the basements in the Business district, <br />extended thi s servi ce to Apartment Houses and Schools, and had fOlmd excellant <br />condi t ion wi th Ii ttle fire hazard. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Health Committee, by Chairman I\lr. Zumwalt, reported that under a permit from <br />the State Game Commission he had sold two yearling Elk at ;$15.00 each, and this <br />report received the a9proval of the Council. <br /> <br />On recommendation of the Police Committee the Council granted the application <br />of' the Alder Drug Store :for a Paclcaf;e Retailer's Alcoholic beverage License. <br /> <br />~, <br /> <br />'. <br />
