Jack 'w.;t, <br /> "*'.'''"'' , <br /> .~,' <br /> Viles supported the ~esolution before the Council, afte~ which the ~esolution was <br /> 6n motion laid on the table. .J!, <br /> A communication from the Milk Dist~ibuto~'s Association u~ging the retention <br /> of Dr. Helterline as permanent Milk Inspector, was read and ordered referred to <br /> the Boa~d of Health. <br /> The Bond of W. C. Hohnstein as Barbage haule~ was on motion approved and <br /> accepted by the Council. <br /> Mrs. Gawley and Mr. Vile s talked before the Council in opposi tion to the, <br /> p~oposa~ of allowing pastue~ization outside the city limits. In view of the fact <br />. that suppo~te~s of the p~oposed ordinance we~e unable to be presen t at this meeting, <br /> consideration of the o~dinance was deferred until the next meeting of the Council. <br /> An O~dinance providing fo~ the. construction of a cement sidewalk abutting <br /> the prope~ty desc~ibed in Section one of this O~dinance, in the City of Eugene, <br /> Lane County, O~egon was read the first time, and passed its second and thi~d read- <br /> ings under suspension of the rule by unanimous consent of the Council, and was <br /> placed upon its final passage. The ayes and nays were called, Councilmen voting <br /> aye 8, nay none, absent none. The Ordinance was declared passed and numbe~ed 8363. <br /> Councilman Lamb recalled the matter of the request of M~. O. K.Baldwin for <br /> a retu~n of $2.50 paid fo~ a milk license, which request was denied on September <br /> 25, 1933. Councilman Hendershott moved a ~econside~ation of this action, and <br /> motion was ca~ried, whereupon Councilman Lamb stated that upon investigation Mr. <br /> Baldwllin had p~ocu~ed the license w.i.th the intention of opemilng a place of business <br /> and that he had not opened the business and had never used the license, but had <br /> merely bought it in o~der to confo~m with the law, and moved that the Council <br /> refund $2.50 to him. Motion was seconded and ayes and nays called. Councilmen <br />I voting aye 8, nay none, absent none. <br /> On motion, duly seconded and ca~ried, the Council adjourned to meet on <br /> Thu~sday, Novembe~ 2, 1933 at 8:00 o'clock P.M. <br /> R.
