(Resolution) <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Market Road or Feeder Road No. 19 of Lane County, <br />State of Oregon"known as the Hadleyville Market Road, is <br /> <br />routed through the City of Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, a <br /> <br />Munici:pal corporation, and the route officially adopted for <br /> <br />said highway by the State Highway Commission traverses the <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />following street or streets, or avenues, of said city; towit: <br /> <br />West 11th Street, <br /> <br />And, VffiEREAS, the State Highway Commission of the State <br /> <br />of Oregon is desirous of receiving Federal Aid for the improve- <br /> <br />ment of said feeder road, <br /> <br />And, WHEREAS, The Bureau of Public Roads of the Departm&nt <br /> <br />of Agriculture of the United States will not participate in <br />the construction of said feeder road until and unless the said <br /> <br />'.' <br /> <br />City of EUgene will guarantee by resolution officially adopted <br />by the City Council of said City, that no encroachments will <br />be permitted upon the right of way of said feeder road within <br />the corporate limits of said City, which will permanently <br /> <br />obstruct or interfere with the free and convenient flow of <br /> <br />traffic over said feeder road through said City; and will so <br />regulate parking of vehicles on said streets or avenues traversed <br />by said feeder road that the free, convenient and safe flow of <br /> <br />traffic shall not be impeded; and agree not to impose unreason- <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />able limitations of speed upon said feeder road, nor impose <br /> <br />any regulations of traffic which will operate to discriminate <br /> <br />against traffic upon said feeder road by giving undue preference <br />to traffic upon other intersecting streets or avenues. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Common Council of <br /> <br />the City of Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, that no encroachments <br /> <br /> <br />will be permitted on the streets and avenues traversed by said <br /> <br />~ <br />
