I :~ Minutes of the regular meeting of the Common Council hel~ at the hour of 7:30 o'clock P.M., October 14, 1935. Council was called to order by Mayor Large, with all Councilmen present except Reid and Zumwalt. Minutes of the regular meeting of September 9, the adjourned meetings of the 19th and 26th, 1935, were read and approved. I The Judiciary Committee, by Chairman Harris, reported adversely on the Mack Sherman request, asking for damages in the amount of $24.00 to his car in a I collision with the fire truck. Motion was made, seconded and carried to accept I the Committee's report. I I The Finance Committee, by Chairman Hendershott, ,reported that the Wiltshire offer for Lot 4, Block 5, Hollenbeck's Addition for $250.00 was too low, and in ,- I his opinion this property would be worth in tbe neighborhood of $1000 in the near · future, and he, therefore, recommended that the offer be turned down. On motion duly seconded and carried this recommendation was accepted. I Councilman Hendershott reported that the electrical inspection bill for September was somewhat higher than usual, and called on the City Engineer to explai the same, and he reported that in his estimation it was too much money. I[ The Finance Committee, by Chairman Hendershott, presented the following bills , to the Council with a recommendation that they be allowed, and motion was made and Il'seconded that warrants be drawn for same.
