<br /> of the City of Eugene, Oregon:
<br /> You are hereby notified that a special meeting of the Common Council of the
<br /> City of Eugene is hereby called for 5:00 o'clock P. M. of October 16, 1935, at
<br /> the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of Eugene, Lane County, Oregon.
<br /> This meeting is called for the purpose of hearing the report of the street
<br /> Committee on the purchase of the Daniels property for a maintenance shop.
<br /> Dated at Eugene, Oregon this 16th day of October, 1935.

<br /> Pursuant to notice of Special Council meeting, the Council was called to
<br /> order' in special session by Mayor Large at 5:00 o'clock P. M., October 16, 1935,
<br /> with all Councilmen present except Hendershott and Zumwalt.
<br /> Councilman Lamb presented the arrangement made with the U. S. National I
<br /> I Bank for the purchase of the Daniel's property' at 5th and Olive street, as
<br /> I follows:

<br /> I Councilman.Lamb moved that the City accept the above offer, and the Mayor

<br /> II and Recorder be authorized tu enter into a contract with the U. S. National
<br /> Bank for the purchase of this property as above outlined, and that the Recorder .
<br /> be instructed to draw a warrant in the amount of $3,000.00 as the down payment.
<br /> Motion was seconded by Councilman Harris, and the ayes and nays were called,
<br /> Councilmen voting aye, Lamb, Reid, Simon, Bond, and Harris. Nay, Carlson.
<br /> Absent Hendershott and Zumwalt.
<br /> \ On motion the Council adjourned.
