Murray to erect a building up - <br /> to the property line of 11th street with a provision that at any time the city of <br /> 22 Eugene shall widen 11th street that the building shall be dismantled back seven, <br /> /, feet and that no damages shall be claimed by Mr. Murray or his successors in in- <br /> terest, except for the land taken, was read and upon motion made and seconded, <br /> I approved. Since it was pointed out that the Oregon '.......... <br /> I 24 Electric would be unable to pay anything in the form of a franchise, that the best <br /> policy would be to hold them without one and in the meantime if we wished, we could <br /> use that as a means to secure whatever the city thought proper. City Engineer Club <br /> was instructed to contact the officials of the Oregon-Electric Railroad Company r <br /> and to make definite arrangements with them for the proper repair of Fifth Street. <br /> Upon motion made and seconded, the meeting was adjourned. <br /> C.
