Also to pass an ordinance regarding the disposal <br />of garbage, which is an amendment to our ordinance no. 8265. Councilman Hawn explained that he had' <br />taken out this insurance on hfsiown property, but that the chances .are remote <br />that it would be necessary: to carry it. HoweVi~r; he believed it would be wise <br />to take. out insurance of' this .kind. Councilman Bond stated tha t we would probably. <br />2 ,be asked to payout a good manyj~lOO items in t.lle "next year that wOU1.d be more' <br />I important than this, but in order for the Council to avoid criticism, :he' thought <br />: it would be wise for the Council to do something along this line. Hall and $10,000 for o.ther equipment contained ih the City Hall. Also, to <br />take' out $10,000 on the Str€let,'Departmen t building, located at 108 W ~ 5th Avenue, <br />and $15,009 on thetJvarious eciu:tpme~t, tools, and app~ratus that maybe contained <br />in the 'b\lilding~ The cost,~ of this insurance is to be taken out of the Emergency <br />: fund for the first six m,onths of 1942. ., .' .
