Gilbert <br />and George W. Mil tonberger on October ,+8, 1943 had expired. Oh l"ovember <br />1 '7, 1943 and aSking that the Court bran'1fa temporaryinj unc-cion against <br />the Council until the case could be hee.r;d. J.. he,aring ViaS held on, <br />February3rd at 9: 30 A.I\!f. and on the morning of Febru&ry 4th, JUq.ge <br />Skipworth ruled against the granting of an injunctioh.,X~'" <br /> <br />I~.layor Large explained this specialmseting had be~n called for <br />furtller discussion regarding theo~"tionsabove referred .to~ . <br />'. He spoke of Judge Skipworth's ref4-salyto <br />grant a temporary injunction against the City. He stated it was his <br />opinion that the options had expired on NOYember l'7th notwithstanding <br />the attempts .the Council had .made for the extension .of time,.: and that he <br />felt the Co"uncil had not been ful;Ly informed at. the i11me the~L;pptions <br />were made, That he i'elt the COl-well 113::1, under the present Ci,fclLl1lstance <br />a perfect right to withdraw tl1{? offer. for extension of time to February <br />10th. .: <br /> <br />~ , <br />At this time Councilman Farrington and Hawn entered the CounGd:l <br />room. Attorney Calkins stated. that kr. Campbell had said th8t i~,tne <br />City did not want this proposed federal development that they wo~. <br />secc..u'e lots j,ust olitside the City. Mr. Calkins stated he felt that he <br />should pass "this infor'mation along to the Council. <br /> <br />CouncilmanCrumbaker stated he thought ther8should be some <br />corrections made in the minutes of the Council meeting of O~tober 18th <br />an that they did not contain some information that should be included. <br />After some explanation to the Council .the fallowing motion Vvas made by <br />Crumbaker and seconded by Baker.
