It was moved by Crumhaker and seconded by Bai- <br />ley that the request be granted to remove files to State Archives at Salem. <br /> <br />An ordinance amending Block I', Westmoreland addition and lots 7, 8, 9, <br />and 10 of block 6 of Chambers Addition, having had the first reading on Feb- <br />ruary 12th was passed to its second and third readings by unanimous consent <br />of the Council by title under suspension'of the rules and was placed for final <br />passage. Councilmen present voting AYE, absent none. The ordinance was <br />declared passed and numbered 8811. <br /> <br />An ordinance rezoning property north of West 13th and East of Chambers <br />was read the first time on January 22nd was passed to its second and third <br />readings by unanimous consent of the Council by title under suspension of the <br />rules and was placed for final passage. All councilment present voting AYE, <br />absent none. The ordinance was declared passed and n~bered 8812. <br /> <br />An ordinance rezoning property south of 7th avenue as single family <br />residence and territory north of 7th as light industrial zone. First reading <br />January 22nd, was passed to its second and third readings by unanimous consent <br />of the Council by title under suspension of the rules and was placed for final <br />passage. All councilmen present voting AYE, absent none. Ordinance was <br />declared passed and numbered 8815. <br /> <br />Council Bill No. 1 re: Establishment of Sewage rates for 1945 was sub- <br />mitted. The ordinance was read the first time and passed to its second and <br />third readings by unaimous consent of the Council by title under suspension of <br />the rules and was placed for final passage. All Councilmen present .voting AYE <br />absent none. The ordinance was declared passed and numbered 8814. <br /> <br />Council bill No. 2 relative to adoptiong of 1943 Building Code was sub- <br />mitted. The petition <br />was ordered referred to the sewer committee with power to act. <br /> <br />Councilman Crumbaker reported that he had been contacted by the ,Head <br />29 of History Department and they requested in case any of the City records were <br />to be removed.
