THE MEETING WAS CALLED TO O~DER <br />BY HIS HONOR, MAYOR V. E. JOHNSON. THE FOLLOWING COUNCILMEN WERE PRESENT: GODLOVE, BOOTH, <br />SMITH, KOPPE AND WATSON. COUNCILMEN CRUMBAKER AND ALLEN WERE ABSENT. <br /> <br />THE MINUTES OP THE LAST REGULAR MEETING HELD MAY 14TH AND THE ADJOURNED MEETING HELD ON <br />MAY 15,1951 WERE READ AND APPROVED. <br /> <br />THIS BEING THE DATE SET FOR THE AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR THE REMODELING OF THE OLD SHOP <br />BUILDING INTO A CITY JAIL, FOR WHICH BIDS WERE OPENED ON MAY 23, 1951 AT 10:00 A.M., THE <br />FOLLOWING BIDS WERE TABULATED: <br /> <br />GALE M.
