THE COMMITTEE REVIEWED THE PROPOSED CHANGES INTHE PRESENT MILK AND MILK PRODUCTS <br />ORDINANCE AS SUBMITTED BY DR. HELTERLINE AND THE CITY MANAGER. IT WAS EXPLAINED THAT <br />THE OBJECTS OF THIS NEW ORDINANCE WERE TO BRING OUR PRESENT MILK AND MILK PRODUCTS <br />I I <br />ORDINANCE UP TO MEET PRE~ENT STA~DARDS AS OUTLINED IN T~E S~ATE STATU~ES; THAT IT <br />INVOLVED NO CHANGES IN FEES OR LICENSES. <br /> <br />AFTER GOING OVER iHE PROPOSED CHANGES IN THIS ORDINANCE, IT WAS RECOMMENDE6 THAT <br />A COpy OF THIS ORDINANCE BE SENT TO THE MILK DISTRIBUTORS IN ORDER TO HAVE THEIR <br />OPINION AND RECOMMENDATION, AND THAT THE jORDINANCE BE READ THE FIRST TIME AT THE <br />COUNCIL MEETING ON FEBRUARY 24TH AND HELD OVER FOR FINAL PASSAGE ON MARCH 9, 1953. <br /> <br />, . <br />2. THE COMMITTEE DROVE OUT fo AIRPORT HOMES AND INSPECTED SOME OF THE BUILDINGS <br />INCLUDED IN THE 60 WNITS TO BE TURNED OVER TO THE CITY FROM THE FEDERAL 'HOUSING <br />, I . <br />AUTHORITY. THE COMMITTEE ALSO STUDIED THE PROPOSAL OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF LANE <br />COUNTY WHEREIN THEY WOULD TAKE ~VER THIS PRP~ECT FOR DISPOSAL IN ~N .ORDERLY MANNER IN <br />A ONE-YEAR LEASE. THE CITY MANAGER ADVISED THAT HE HAD WRITTEN. THE FEDERAL HOUSING <br />AUTHORITY R~QUESTING AN INVENTORY OF ALL THE MATERIAL, FURNISHINGS 4ND EQUIPMENT IN- <br />VOLVED AND THAT MORE COMPLETE DETAILS RELATIVE TO FINAL DISPOSITION OF THIS PROJECT <br />. - ..
