THE VAL(EY REN~AL COMPANY, 886 WEST 6TH AVENUE,REQUJSTED A VARIANCE,FROM THE <br />FORTY (40') FOOT SET BACK TO CONSTRUCT A SIGN AT THE ABOVE ADD~ESS. WEST 6TH <br />AVENUE IS ALSO SET ASIDE FOR FUTURE WIDENING. ALL MEMBERS WERE IN AGREEMENT THE <br />REQUEST BE DENIED. <br /> <br />3. MR. CARL D. JOHNSON, 127 EAST 32ND AVENUE, HAS REQUESTED A VARIANCE OF 1HE PRE- <br />SENT FIVE (5') FOOT SIDE LINE SET BACK TO CONSTRUCT AN ADDITION TO THE EXISTING <br />STRUCTURE WHICH IS :THREE (3') FEET FROM HIS INTERIOR PROPERTY LINE. IN VIEW OF <br />THE FACT THAT THE PROPOSED ADDITION WOULD NOT EXTEND BEYOND THE PRESENT THREE <br />FOOT SET BACK, MR. HENDERSHOTT MOVED THE REQUEST BE GRANTED. MR. MOYER SECONDEO, <br />MOTl ON CARR I ED. <br /> <br />4. MR. ARNOLD H. NORRIS, 2042 LINCOLN STREET~ HAS ASKED FOR A SIDE LINE SET BACK <br />VARIANCE TO CONSTRUCT A GARAGE DIRECTLY ON THE P~OPERTY LINE ON THE NORTH SIDE <br />AND 29' FROM THE FRONT PROPERTY LINE. <br /> <br />IT WAS EXPLAINED TO MEMBERS OF THE BOARD THAT IN ORDER TO BUILD DIRECTLY ON THE <br />PROPERTY LINE,YOU MUST BE 70' FROM THE FRONT PROPERTY LINE. IN ORDER TO COMPLY <br />WITH THESE REGULATIONS, IT WOULD TAKE CONSIDERABLE FILL AND ADD MUCH TO THE <br />EXPENSE OF BUILDING. TAKING THESE FACTS' INTO CONSIDERATION, MR. HENDERSHOTT <br />MADE A MOTION THE REQUEST BE GRANTED. IT WAS SECONDED BY MR. MORRIS, MOTION <br />CARRIED. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />5. MR. VERNON SCOTT, 3838 WEST 11TH AVENUE, REQUESTS A FRONT PROPERTY LINE SET <br />BACK VARIANCE TO CONSTRUCT A RESIDENCE ON LOT 5 AND THIRTY (30') FE~T OF LOT 6, <br />VICTORIA HEIGHTS ADDITION. <br /> <br />AFTER VIEWING THE CONTOUR MAP AND TAKING INTO CONSIDERATION THE PROPOSED LOCA- <br />TION SHOWN ON THE PLOT PLAN IT WAS UNANIMOUSLY AGREED UPON BY ALL MEMBERS Of' <br />THE BOARD Of ApPEALS THE VARIANCE BE GRANTED. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />6. MR. LOUIS F. BONSON, 40 EAST 11TH AVENUE, REQUESTS A FRONT PROPERTY LINE SET <br />BACK VARIANCE TO CONSTRUCT A RESIDENCE ON LOT 6 AND TWENTy'(20') FEET OF LOT 5 <br />AND THIRTY (30') FEET OF LOT 7, FAIRMOUNT HEIGHTS ADDITION. <br /> <br />AFTER TAKING INTO CONSIDERATION AGAIN THE TOPOGRAPHY OF THE LAND, AND SET BACKS <br />OF EXISTING HOUSES ON SPRING BLVD., MR. HENDERSHOTT MOVED THE VARIANCE BE <br />GRANTED. MR. MORRIS SECONDED, MOTION CARRIED. <br /> <br />THERE BEING NO fURTHER BUSINESS, THE MEETING WAS ADJOURNED." <br /> <br />,IT WAS MOVED BY MR.
