<br />The regular meeting of the Common Council of the City of Eugene, Oregon, was called
<br />to order at 7:30, p.m. PDT on June 10, 1963 in the Council Chamber by His Honor Mayor Edwin
<br />E. Cone with the fo11ow~ng councilmen present: ,Messrs. Chatt, Swanson, Christensen,
<br />Deverell, Crakes, Hawk, and Purdy. Mrs. 'Lauris,was absent.
<br />
<br />The invocation ~as sung by the Eugene PTA Mother Singers, Mrs. Wm. Dugan leading.

<br />Minutes of tl1e adjourned mee,tings of May 27 and June 3, 1963, as mailed to members
<br />of the Council, were approved.

<br />NEW BUSINESS
<br />
<br />Mr. Swanson ra;i.sed the question of blind intersections around the City and called
<br />particular attention to 18th and W'ashington, and, 8th and Tyler. Mr. Crakes then men-
<br />tioned the intersection at 22nd and Frie~d1y as being a rather bad corner. These items
<br />were referred to the proper members" of the staff for investigation.
