Cone with the <br /> following councilmen present: Mr. Chatt, Mrs. Lauris, Messrs. Crakes, Hawk, Purdy, McNutt, Anderson, <br /> and Lassen. <br /> Invocation:was given: by Rev. Edward R. Anderson of Emmaus Lutheran Church. <br /> The minutes of the adjourned meeting held May 24; 1965 and of the special meeting held June 1, 1965, <br /> as mailed to members of the Council, were approved. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Eugene Mission Committee <br />1 Mayor Cone announced appointment of the following named persons to serve as members 0f a committee <br /> to study and make recommendations 'concerning a new site for location of the Eugene Mission: e <br /> Dean Haley, 1790 Ferry Street William McLeod, 3545 Mill Street <br /> Wilbur H. Hyland,Jr. , 920 Cheshire Avenue William Peebles, 2835. Firwood Way <br /> Brl;lce Lassen, 983'Elizabeth Street Al~son C. Wysong, Jr." 2890 Chambers Street <br /> , , <br /> '. <br />2 Widening Coburg Road - Authorization was requested to purchase for $1400.00 property needed for I <br /> r,ight-of-wq.y for widening Cqburg Road at 1209 and 1215: Coburg Road owned by D. ' - <br />3 Variance Sidewalk Construction. U.S.National Bank. 13th and Alder - Wilmsen, Endicott & Unthank, as <br /> :architects on this projec~, requested permission to use brick paving in certain areas of the side- <br /> walk construction. <br /> Mrs. Lauris moved ,seconded by Mr. Chatt to waive ordinance requirements and allow brick paving as <br /> requested. Long-Ivey - Max Long requested segregation:of assess...: <br /> ment for sewer construction in Willakenzie Sanitary Sewer Improvement District WS-63-3 agains,t <br /> his property at 1815 Cal Young Road. Balance of assessment is $1751.89 to be divded $1662.64 to <br /> P.arcel 1 and $89.25 to:Parce12, the 16-foot,strip to be sold. <br /> Mr. Chatt moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris to approve the requested segregation of assessment.
