<br /> The regular meeting of the Common Council of the city of Eugene, Oregon, was called to order
<br /> at 7:30 p.m .PDT on July 12, 1965 in the Council Chamber by Council President John Chatt in the
<br /> absence of Mayor Cone with the following councilmen present: Mrs. Lauris, Messrs. Crakes, Hawk,
<br /> Purdy, McNutt, Anderson, and Lassen.
<br /> The invocation was given by Rev. George E. Mizell of the Fairfield Baptist Church.
<br /> Minutes of the special meeting held June 22, 1965 and the adjourned meeting held June 28, 1965,
<br /> as mailed to members of the Council, were approved.

<br />e 1 The following tabulation of bids was presented as opened June 22, 1965 for purchase of a
<br /> crawler-type tractor for the Public Works Department:

<br /> voting aye, motion carried.
<br /> Mayor Cone arrived at this time and assumed the ~hair.
