Cone at 7:30 p.m. on November 8, 1965 in the Council Chamber with the <br /> following councilmen present: Mrs. Lauris, Messrs. Chatt, Crakes, Purdy, Anderson, and Lassen. <br /> Councilmen Hawk and McNutt were absent. <br /> Minutes of the meeting held October-'25, 1965, as mailed to members of the Council, were approved. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> 1 Traffic, Broadway and Mill - Councilman Purdy questioned the traffic engineer concerning paint lines <br /> placed on Franklin Boulevard at Mill Street. The traffic engineer explained this was done by the <br />e Oregon State Highway Department for channelization of traffic. <br /> 2 Bids, Sewer 23rd from Onyx to west and south - Tabulation of bids was presented for sewer construction <br /> on 23rd Avenue from Onyx Street west to alley and south to between 23rd and 24th Avenues (storm sewer): <br /> Howard Nelson Construction Company (Low) $ 5,359.10 $ 5,359.10 Cost to City <br /> Bostick & Sons Construction Company 6,478.41 <br /> Ross Pruett . 6,863.84 <br />I Wildish Construction Company 7,735.88 <br /> McKenzie Road & Driveway Company 9,051.53 <br /> Mr. Chatt moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris that the contract be awarded to Howard Nelson Construction <br /> Company on their low bid of $5,359.10.
