<br />A letter was read from McKenzie Road & Driveway, and George Goodfellow, general manager of McKenzie
<br />Road & Driveway, stated he felt the Council was awarding the bids not on the basis 'of the low bidder
<br />but on the basis of spreading the contracts among different contractors. Ken Bostick of Bostick
<br />& Sons Construction Company stated he felt this is not true because in all cases except BD-66-ll the
<br />low bidder was the same contractor on Alternate No.1 and'Alternate No.2.
<br />
<br />A rollcall vote was taken on the motion, and motion carried, all councilmen present voting aye except
<br />Councilman Purdy voting no.

<br />Mr. Hawk moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris that laterals be placed at a depth of 17 feet on'projects
<br />BD-66-7 and BD-66-l0 instead of construction a pumping ,station, and that an adjustment be made on the
<br />assessments for laterals that are placed below a 10-foot le~ 1. Motion carried.
