<br />Robert Elfers, legal counsel for Lane County, presented the County's protest on the
<br />basis of the County's provision of off-street parking for the Courthouse. Written ob-
<br />jections were filed previously with the City by the County.

<br />V. Edwin Johnson, owner of property within the proposed district, spoke in favor of
<br />its formation and cited the percentage of property owners who petitioned formation of
<br />the district.

<br />Dr. Purdy moved seconded by Mr. McNutt to continue the public hearing on this district also ,to the
<br />January 23, 1967 Council meeting. Motion carried.

<br />Pearl for $1,001.85 for sewer easement in Bethe1-Danebo and damages to property and
