Cone with the following councilmen' present: Dr.. Purdy, Mrs. Lauris, <br />Messrs. McNutt, Anderson, Lassen, Mrs. Hayward, and Messrs. McDonald and Wingard~ <br /> <br />Minutes of the meet.ing held ,May 8, 1967,. as mailed, to Council members,- were, approved. <br /> <br />. "NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />Councilman McDonald issued an invitation to the Mayor and' Council. members to attend <br />groundbreaking ceremonies for the new Marist High School south of the Belt Line Road <br />east of ,the.WillameHe River on Tuesday, May 23,1967,11:00 p.m. <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />Appointment. Civil Service Commission - A letter was presented from James Pearson sub- <br />mitting. his resignation as :a- member of the Civil Service' Commission. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Dr. Purdy moved seconded by Mr. Anderson to appoint John Chatt as a member of the Civil Service Com- <br />mission for the term ending January 1, 1970, replacing James Pearson, resigned.
