<br /> as noted below:
<br /> Paving, sanitary am storm sewers in Mahalo Hills Addition - If School District 4 is unablr to acquire
<br /> the necessary right-of-way agreement by noon on July 28, 1967 to enable the City to provide sewers for
<br /> the new Fox Hollow Elementary School, then the staff recommends the contract not be awarded. Delaying
<br /> the project beyond that time would make it impossible to complete the work this construction season.
<br />I Paving, sanitary and storm sewers in Kingswood Terrace Addition - The Public Works Department recom-
<br /> mended award to the low bidder, subject to approval of the property owner.
<br /> Paving and storm sewers on 38th from Willamette to Knob Hill Lane - The Public Works Department made
<br /> no recommendation on this project, but suggested it might be held until next year and then include
<br /> another two blocks with the thought the cost would be decreased.
<br /> Paving and storm sewer on alley between 6th and 7th, Chambers and Fillmore - The Public Works Director
<br /> explained that although only one bid was received, it was thought to be a reasonable cost for the work.
<br /> Dr. Purdy moved seconded by Mr. Anderson to award contracts to the low bidder on each project, except
<br /> that all bids for paving and storm sewer on 38th Avenue be rejected; that the award for the. Mahala
<br /> Hills Addition project be subject to School District 4's entering into an agreement to provide neces-
<br /> sary rights-of-way for the City by noon, July 28, 1967; and that the award on the Kingswood Terrace
<br /> Addition project be subject to approval of the property owner. Rollcall vote. All councilmen present
<br />I voting aye, motion carried.
