The purpose of the meeting is I' <br />to discuss ~he status of the League's law.suit against American Can Company and.goals'and'standards jl: <br />of the community. ' <br />:. <br /> <br />3 Councilwoman Hayw.ard reported on the annual.meeting of the, Lane Memorial ~l"od Bank and presented a II: ~ <br />copy of their annual report. ' She said the most significgnt accomplishment of the Blood Bank duririg : <br />the year was establishment of the Blood Assurance plan which.involves families agreeing to contribute I <br />blood when needed and in return are assured availability of blood when it is needed by those families ' <br />participating.
