Policy, Use of Remodeled Residences for Professional Offices - Councilman Wingard <br />asked for review of the City's policy with regard to allowing use of remodeled homes <br />for professional offices. .The Superintendent of Building Inspection explained criteria <br />in the various fire zones which control physical changes permitted in residential <br />buildings, but said that the courts have ruled adversely with regard to change in <br />occupancy. <br /> <br />Mrs. Hayward moved seconded by Dr. Purdy to receive and file. Commendation, Eugene Register-Guard - Councilwoman Hayward called attention to the <br />special section on the City in the Register-Guard issue of January 5, 1969. She <br />expressed appreciation for the Guard's review of the City's work for the past ten <br />years. <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br />4. Boards and Commissions - Councilwoman Bea1 asked for a list of members of the City's <br />various boards and commissions and was told copies will be furnished members of the <br />Council. <br /> <br />Mrs. Bea1 moved seconded by Dr. Purdy to receive and file.
