Manager said the <br />co-operation agreement with the Agency detailing obligation of the City in the renewal <br />project would appear to preclude the City's assessing for this vacation. <br /> <br />Mel Purvis, Eugene Water & Electric Board, said the Water Board has a steam line in the <br />alley about which they are concerned. Mr. Hunt replied that the Water Board was noti- <br />fied two weeks ago that the alley is being considered for vacation. He said transactions <br />with the Water Board are with the City itself. <br /> <br />Council Bill No. 9621 - Vacating alley between 7th and 8th Avenues from Olive <br />Street east 160 feet (ERA/Jacobs), was submitted and <br />read the first time by council bill number and title <br />only, no councilman present requesting that it be read <br />in full. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Mrs. Beal moved seconded by Mr. Teague that the council bill be read the second <br />time by council bill number only , with unanimous consent of the Council, and <br />that enactment be considered at this time.
