Public Works Director reviewed the bids submitted. He explained that sewer reconstruction between Lawrence and Washington form Cheshire to'3rd was held until completion of the Washingto~/Jefferson overpass construction. Recommen- dation was to award contracts to the low bidders on both projects. Mrs. Beal moved seconded by Mr~ Williams to award contracts to low bidders as recommended. Rollcall vote.. Skinner's Butte - Paving overlay on western portion of road ascending Skinner's Butte, beginning near the parks warehouse. A portion of this lies within the Lincoln Street R/W and is not a part of the B.O.R. Skinner's Butte Phase III project. Bob has made arrangements with Don Allen that public works pay for the tonnage applied vJithin the Lincoln Street R/h'. T:lis will amount to about 94 tons of the estimated total of 347 tons.
