<br /> C. Activities of Councilor Holmer <br /> e Mr. Holmer said he attended several interesting meetings this summer. He said <br /> he reported on activities of the National Council on Public Works Improvement <br /> at a summer meeting of the Finance, Administration, and Intergovernmental <br /> Relations (FAIR) Committee of the National League of Cities and then conveyed <br /> comments of FAIR Committee members to the National Council. Later he <br /> participated in the National Council's review of its semi-annual report. He <br /> said other councilors will receive copies of the first report of the National <br /> Council soon. He read a statement about the report. <br /> Mr. Holmer said he represented the National Council at the International <br /> Conference on Infrastructure Investment in The Hague, Netherlands. He <br /> displayed a document from the conference and said the conference was sponsored <br /> by a private company. He discussed the conference and interesting structures <br /> in the Netherlands. <br /> D. Project City Pride <br /> Ms. Bascom said Mayor Obie and she have signed letters and Certificates of <br /> Appreciation that will be sent to about 20 businesses that provided attractive <br /> flowers in the city this summer. <br /> II. CITY COUNCIL MINUTES OF JULY 14, 1986 <br /> Ms. Ehrman moved, seconded by Ms. Schue, to approve the <br /> City Council meeting minutes of July 14, 1986. SEGREGATION OF ASSESSMENT FOR PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE <br /> OF CLINTON DRIVE, SOUTH OF CRENSHAW <br /> Ms. Ehrman moved, seconded by Ms. Schue, to approve the <br /> seregation of assessment for property located on the <br /> east side of Clinton Drive, south of Crenshaw. Roll <br /> call vote; the motion carried unanimously, 7:0. <br /> IV. PUBLIC HEARING--CITY OF EUGENE FY87 SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET #1 <br /> City Manager Micheal Gleason said the Budget Committee made modifications in <br /> the Supplemental Budget #1 on September 23, 1986. Consequently, the budget <br /> must be published again before the council considers it. <br /> V. RESOLUTION SUPPORTING HAYWARD FIELD PROJECT <br /> City Manager Micheal Gleason introduced consideration of the Hayward Field <br /> Project.
