Mr. Norgaard pointed out that Eugene won in all
three categories in the engineering/planning field. Ms. Bishop said that the
reputation the City has for its bicycle system has resulted in at least two
groups choosing Eugene as their conference site. This summer the Institute of
Traffic Engineers will meet here and this fall the Northwest Regional Meeting of
Pro Bike will take place in Eugene.
I.
