Consideration of City Council minutes of November 16, 1983, <br />November 21, 1983, November 23, 1983, and Special Meeting of <br />December 14, 1983 (minutes distributed) <br /> <br />Ms. Wooten moved, seconded by Ms. Smith, to approve the City Council <br />minutes of November 16, 1983, November 21, 1983, November 23, 1983, <br />and December 14, 1983. Roll call vote; the motion carried unanimously, <br />6:0. <br /> <br />B. Ordinance for Second Reading re: Street Vacation (Riverside Realty) <br />(SV 80-2) (memo, map distributed) <br /> <br />City Manager Micheal Gleason introduced the agenda item. At the time of the <br />first reading, the staff was requested to resolve financial matters with partici- <br />pants in the vacation. This has now been accomplished to clear the way for the <br />second reading. <br /> <br />CB 2247--An ordinance authorizing vacation of a 501-wide public <br />right-of-way located at the northern terminus of Van <br />Buren Street, north of Lewis Avenue. <br /> <br />Ms. Wooten moved, seconded by Ms. Smith, that the bill be approved <br />and given final passage. Roll call vote; all councilors present <br />voting aye, the bill was declared passed (and became Ordinance No. <br />19209). <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />III. ADJUSTMENTS OF ASSESSMENTS LEVIED BY ORDINANCE #19103 (memo, ordinance <br />distributed) <br /> <br />City Manager Gleason introduced the agenda item. Bert Teitzel, City Engineer, <br />gave the staff report, stating that the bill permitted an adjustment on assess- <br />ments, as determined by~a court order, on condominiums noted in the bill. <br /> <br />CB 2708--An ordinance adjusting assessments levied by Ordinance <br />#19103 entitled "An ordinance levying assessments for <br />paving, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer on Country <br />Club Road from I-I05 to Willagillespie Road, and on <br />Willagillespie Road from Country Club to 300' south of <br />Clinton Avenue; and storm sewer in area between Country <br />Club Road and 1-105 in the City of Eugene, Lane County, <br />Oregon"; and declaring an emergency. <br /> <br />Ms. Wooten moved, seconded by Ms. Smith, that the bill be read <br />the second time by council bill number only, with unanimous <br />consent of the council. and that enactment be considered at this <br />time.
