Coll i er House <br /> Referring to a memo from the staff about improvements to the Collier House on <br /> the University of Oregon campus, Mr. Holmer said he would not favor using the <br /> City's Capital Improvement Funds for improvements to the Collier House. <br /> F. Metropolitan Partnership <br /> Mr. Holmer said a new logo was displayed by Mayor Obie at a meeting of the <br /> Metropolitan Partnership last week. The logo can be used at new or expanded <br /> businesses or construction sites. The logo is similar to the one used by <br /> Mr. Holmer in his election campaign several years ago. <br /> G. Award--Certificate of Conformance in Financial Reporting <br /> Mayor Obi e rea d a sta tement i ndi ca ti ng the Government Fi nance Offi cers Associ- <br /> ation of .the United States and Canada has awarded the City of Eugene a Certi- <br /> ficate of Conformance in Financial Reporting for the FY84 Annual Financial <br /> Report. The certificate recognizes the substantial effort to fully disclose <br /> financial affairs in a logical and constructive way to the governing body and <br />- the public, Mayor Obie said. He presented the award to Dee Ann Raile, <br /> Reporting/Control Manager, and her staff. <br /> H. Mayor's Nomination to Southern Wi1lamette Private Industry Council <br /> (memo distributed) <br /> Ms. Wooten moved, and Ms. Schue seconded, to approve the follow- <br /> ing nomination to the Southern Willamette Private Industry Coun- <br /> cil: <br /> Debra Giblin, 1808 Ca1 Young Road, #67 -- term to expire 12/31/86 <br /> Roll call vote; the motion carried unanimously, 6:0. <br /> I.
