<br />e <br /> <br />M I NUT E S <br /> <br />Eugene City Council <br />Council Chamber--City Hall <br /> <br />June 8, 1992 <br />7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />PRESENT: Shawn Boles, Bobby Green, Ruth Bascom, Debra Ehrman, Randy <br />MacDonald, Paul Nicholson, Kaye Robinette, Roger Rutan. <br /> <br />The regular meeting of June 8, 1992, of the Eugene City Council was called to <br />order by His Honor Mayor Jeff Miller. <br /> <br />I. PUBLIC FORUM <br /> <br />Gary Sorg, 285 Crest Drive, summarized a letter he submitted to the City <br />Manager's Office on Wednesday, June 3, expressing concern regarding the dog- <br />off-leash designation for the east pasture of the Wayne Morse Park. He felt <br />it was time the council address concerns regarding the designation. <br /> <br />Responding to a question from Mr. MacDonald, Mr. Sorg said he understood that <br />the council would not have received copies of his letter by tonight and said <br />e he provided extra copies to staff this evening. <br /> <br />II. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />A. Approval of City Council Minutes of April 8, 1992, lunch Work <br />Session and April 13, 1992, Meeting <br /> <br />B. Resolution Concerning Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program <br /> <br />Res. No. 4331--A resolution establishing an affirmative action <br />policy for disadvantaged business enterprise <br />participation and repealing Resolution 3425. <br /> <br />Mr. Boles moved, seconded by Mr. Green, to approve the items <br />on the City Council consent calendar. <br /> <br />Mr. Green commented that he was satisfied with Resolution 4331's provision <br />requiring an annual review of the disadvantaged business enterprise program. <br /> <br />Roll call vote; the motion passed unanimously, 8:0. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />MINUTfS--fugene City Council <br />7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />June 8, 1992 <br /> <br />..--------- <br />Page 1 <br />
