Easement east of City View, between West 27th Avenue and Corinthian Court
(Furtick/Maks)(EV 76-2)
Recommended by the Planning Commission on May 24, 1976.
Jim Saul, planner, explained that at one time the intent was for City View to -
be extended directly to the south to an intersection with 27th, rather than
curving. When the old City View right-of-way was vacated to make the curved
route, a blanket easement was retained. Utilities have since been located
on the west side of that right-of-way so there is no need for the easement
recommended for vacation at this time.
Public hearing was held with no testimony presented.
Council Bill No. 1211 - Vacating easement east of City View, between West 27th
Avenue and Corinthian Court was read by council bill
number and title only, there being no Council member present requesting that it
be read in full.
Mr. Haws moved second by Mr.Hamel that the bill be read the second time by
council bill number only, with unanimous consent of the Council, and that
enactment be considered at this time.
