<br /> Adjourned meeting from June 22, 1977, of the City Council of the City of
<br /> Eugene, Oregon, was called to order by His Honor Mayor Gus Keller at 7:30 p.m.
<br /> on June 27, 1977, in the Council Chamber with the following Council members
<br /> present: Eric Haws, D.W. Hamel, Tom Williams, Ray Bra~ley, Jack Delay, Scott
<br /> Lieuallen, Brian Obie, and Betty Smith.
<br /> I. Awards Ceremony
<br /> Mayor Keller, in a short introductory speech, acknowledged all persons
<br /> who have served on the various boards and commissions. He thanked them
<br /> for their hard work and long hours spent, saying these citizens provided
<br /> the balance between the City Council and the public in protection against
<br /> apathy. Each contribution was essential. He extended to all, on behalf
<br /> of the City Council and other citizens in the community, thanks and good
<br /> wishes.
