Hamel, Jack Delay, Scott Lieuallen, Bri~n Obie <br /> and Betty Smith; Paula Ross, HCC; Dee Tipping, Council Coordinator <br /> President Hamel called the meeting to order at 4:45 p.m., Wednesday, June 14, 1978, <br /> for the purpose of interviewing finalists for three positions on the Community <br /> Development Committee for 2\ year terms ending January 1, 1981. <br /> Those interviewed were: <br /> Rosemary Boss, 1730 Minda Drive <br /> Gary DuTell, 1940 East 28th <br /> Ellen Maddox, 2470 Van Ness <br /> Jan Newton, 1332 Lawrence, #1 <br /> David Raines, 2245 Monterey <br /> Jonathan Stafford, 1060 Madison <br />e, Douglas Keep, 2908 McKendrick, had been interviewed previously by Council <br /> June 7, 1978. Dewey Newman, 2040 Hawkins Lane, had requested his name be <br /> withdrawn from consideration. <br /> After interviewing, Council held a discussion regarding the responsibilities of <br /> the Community Development Com~ittee, and the various applicants' qualifications <br /> for the positions. <br /> Ms. Smith moved, seconded by Mr. Obie, to cast <br /> a unanimous ballot to appoint Gary DuTell, Jan <br /> Newton, and Jonathan Stafford to the CDC for 2\- <br /> year terms ending January 1, 1981.
