Hamel, Tom Williams, Eric Haws, <br /> Jack Delay, Scott Lieuallen, Brian Obie, and Betty Smith. Councilor Ray Bradley <br /> was absent. <br /> 1. PUBLI C HEAR I NGS <br /> A. Relocation of existing traffic diverter on Fairway Loop to allow <br /> access to Fairway Loop Planned Unit Development (SC 78-6) <br /> Unanimously recommended by Planning Commission November 20, 1978. <br /> Manager said the proposed traffic diverter on Fairway Loop would be <br /> moved approximately 300 feet north of the present location near <br /> Southwood. Relocation of the diverter would permit two-way traffic <br /> on Fa i,rway Loop between Southwood, and the south ent ra nce of the <br /> Fairway Loop Planned Unit Development. This relocation was made a <br /> condition to the PUD developer to reduce the impact of development <br /> - traffic on the existing neighborhood. Jim Hanks, Traffic Engineer, <br /> and Don Allen, Public Works Director, were available to answer <br /> questions. <br /> Public hearing was held with no testimony presented. <br /> Res. No. 3056--Repealing Resolution No. 2677; and authorizing relocation <br /> of existing traffic diverter on Fairway Loop to allow <br /> access to Fairway Loop Planned Unit Development was read <br /> by number and title. <br /> Mr. Hamel moved, seconded by Mr. Delay, to adopt the resolution. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> B. Concurrent annexation/rezoning of property located east of <br /> Willagillespie Road to the southeast of Willagillespie School <br /> from County AGT to City R-l (Lane County) (A/l 78-12) <br /> Unanimously recommended by Planning Commission November 20, 1978. <br /> Jim Saul, Planner, said the property consists of 2.83 acres of develop- <br /> able land and .72 acres of right-of-way, for a total of 3.55 acres. <br /> Lane County owns the land and has agreed to sell to the Lane County <br /> Housing Authority for development of a subsidized housing project, if <br /> approved. The City, through the Joint Housing Committee, has been <br /> involved in the development of the project, and would be involved in <br /> the development including funding in the future. <br /> e <br /> 12/11/78--1 <br /> 146 ~ <br />
