<br /> M I NUT E S <br /> EUGENE CITY COUNCIL <br /> tit Speci a 1 Meet i ng <br /> August 1, 1979 <br /> Special meeting of the City Council of the City of Eugene, Oregon, was called to <br /> order by Council Vice President Betty Smith at 10:30 a.m., August 1, 1979, in <br /> the McNutt Room, City Hall, with the following Councilors present: Eric Haws, <br /> D. W. Hamel, Brian Obie, Gretchen Miller. Councilors Scott Lieuallen, Emily <br /> Schue, and Jack Delay were absent. <br /> The purpose of the meeting was to interview finalists and make appointments to <br /> the Eugene Renewal Agency. Also present was Don Nelson, Eugene Register-Guard. <br /> I. SELECTION OF TWO APPOINTMENTS TO THE EUGENE <br /> RENEWAL AGENCY FOR FOUR-YEAR TERM, ENDING JULY 10, 1983 <br /> Those interviewed for a position on the Eugene Renewal Agency, four-year <br /> term, ending July 10, 1983, were as follows: Wallace A. Swanson, 140 <br /> Coachman Drive; Lori Loehr, 1312 Piper Lane; D. Dustin Posner, 1891 Harris <br /> Street; Linda Bray, 1365 Lorane Highway; and Fred Greatwood, 3340 Fillmore <br /> St reet . <br /> e After interviewing the finalists, ballots were cast by the Councilors <br /> present as follows: <br /> Sm it h : Swanson, Bray. <br /> Miller: Loehr, Swanson. <br /> Obie: Swanson, Greatwood. <br /> Hamel: Swanson, Loehr. <br /> Haws: Swanson, Loehr. <br /> It was moved and seconded to appoint Wallace Swanson and Lori <br /> Loehr to the Eugene Renewal Agency for a four-year term, ending <br /> July 10, 1983.
