<br /> Eo Civic Center Commission Meeting <br /> Manager announced a Civic Center Commission meeting tonight, e <br /> September 12, at 7:30 in the McNutt Room to discuss whether the <br /> operating organization should be a City department or a non-profit <br /> corporat ion. A meeting of the Revenue Task Force is being held <br /> Thursday at 12:00 noon in the McNutt Room. <br />I I . ROUTINE ITEMS FOR COUNCIL APPROVAL <br /> A. Approval of Council Minutes of September 5, 1979 <br /> Mr. Delay moved, seconded by Ms. Smith, to approve the Council <br /> minutes of September 5, 1979. Motion carried, all Councilors <br /> present voting aye, except Mr. Delay abstaining since he was not <br /> at the September 5 meeting. <br />II I. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> A. New Liquor License Outlet: Beverage King (Package Store) <br /> Located at 756 Charnel ton (J. Fred Yahn/E. H. Robbins) <br /> Manager reported approval by all City departments. <br /> Public hearing was held with no testimony presented. <br /> Mr. Delay moved, seconded by Ms. Smith, to forward to OLCC with e <br /> recommendation for approval, subject to conditions, if any. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> B. Public Works Bid Awards (Tabulation Attached) <br /> The project is a repair of the Brookside Drive slide, resulting in a <br /> water main break. The costs will be borne by the developer. <br /> Public hearing was held with no testimony presented. <br /> Mr. Delay moved, seconded by Ms. Smith, to award the project to <br /> the low bidder. Motion carried unanimously. <br />IV. PARK BID AWARD (TABULATION ATTACHED) <br /> Manager announced that this Skinner Butte Phase VI project is 50 percent <br /> funded through a federal grant. The project is scheduled for completion <br /> this fall. John Etter, Parks and Recreation, said the project is located <br /> west of the freeway and the Rose Garden, south and east of the bike <br /> bridge. <br /> e <br /> 9/12/79--2 <br /> 50g <br />
