ORBNANCE NO. 20294 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING MULTIPLE-UNiT HOUSING; AND <br />AMENDING SECTION 2,945 OF THE EUGENE CODE, i97i. <br /> <br />THE QTY OF EUGENE DOES ORDA)N AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1, Subsection (2)of Section 2,945 of the Eugene Code, 1971, is <br /> <br />amended to provide: <br /> <br />;2,945 Mdtife-Unit Housipg i;?.[~p_¢_rt¥ Tax Exemptiop. <br /> <br />(2) <br /> <br />In order to provide the incentives described in subsection (I) of this <br />section, the provisions of ORS 307,600 to 307.691 are hereby adopted as <br />the city's multiple-unit housing property tax exemption program for the <br />city's core area. The city's core area shall include the area generally <br />bounded on the west by Lincoln Street, on the south by 13th Avenue from <br />£incoln Street to O#ve Street, then south on O#ve Street to 15th <br />Avenue, east on 15th Avenue to Wi#amette Street, then north on <br />Wi#amette Street t013~h Avenue, and east on ~3th Avenue to High <br />Street, on the east by High Street, and on the north by the Union Pacific <br />Railroad tracks, as more particularly described in the standards and <br />guiddines adopted by the city manager in the manner prescribed in <br />section 2,019 of this code. The standards and 9uiddines shall include <br />provisions to relate the net financial benefit from the property tax <br />exemption to the public benefits provided by the improvements. <br /> <br />Section 2.
