MINUTES <br />Eugene City Council <br />Harris Hall, 125 East 8th Avenue <br />Eugene, Oregon 97401 <br />April 22, 2019 <br />5:30 p.m. <br />Councilors Present: Emily Semple, Jennifer Yeh, Alan Zelenka, Mike Clark, Chris Pryor, Greg <br />Evans, Betty Taylor, Claire Syrett <br />In Mayor Vinis' absence, Councilor Taylor opened the April 22, 2019, work session of the <br />Eugene City Council. <br />(Councilor Zelenka arrived at 5:41 p.m.) <br />1. Applicant Statements for the Budget Committee, Civilian Review Board and <br />Human Rights Commission <br />City councilors heard from applicants for open positions on the City's advisory boards <br />and commissions. Each applicant presented a three-minute statement regarding their <br />interest in serving the community through board or commission membership. <br />• Budget Committee <br />i.
