3. The Budget Committee meets six to eight times in the spring to review the proposed <br /> budget. Citizen members of the Budget Committee a/so may meet throughout the year <br /> on projects assigned to them by the council /n past years, the committee <br /> recommended funding strategies for upgrading our transportation system and our <br /> regiona/ pub~lc safety data co//ection system. This year, they wi//be providing options <br /> to the City Council on a riving wage ordinance. Citizen members wi//a/so meet with <br /> City staff on at/east three occasions to review service profi/e updates. Are you <br /> interested in such an active ro/e? Why or why not? <br /> <br /> 4.
